Grocery List & Prep Guide for Pineapple Quinoa & Green Beans

To make cooking smooth and enjoyable, organization is key. Here’s everything you need for this week’s sides and vegetable while keeping the full menu in mind:

Grocery List (Side & Vegetable Focus):

  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed

  • ¼ cup Monin coconut syrup (for cooking quinoa)

  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

  • 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped

  • About 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed

  • 1–2 tbsp butter or avocado oil

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • 1–2 tbsp honey

  • Pinch of sea salt

Prep-Ahead Tips:

  • 1–2 days ahead: Cook quinoa; toast almonds and store in airtight container (I do prefer making the same day)

  • Day before: Trim green beans and chop green onions, toast almonds, chop ginger,

  • Day of: Quickly steam or sauté green beans and glaze with honey-garlic-ginger mixture just before serving

Pro Tip: Quinoa and green beans can be gently reheated; finish the green beans right before plating for crisp-tender texture and vibrant color.
