Grocery List & Prep Guide for Burrata Crostini

Now that you’ve seen the full menu — from the Burrata Crostini appetizer, to Pineapple Quinoa, Honey Garlic Ginger Glazed Green Beans, Baked Halibut with Coconut Jalapeño Lime Sauce, and ending with Lemon Mascarpone Mousse — it’s time to get organized for cooking.

Here’s everything you’ll need to start the week with the appetizer while keeping the rest of the menu in mind:

Grocery List (Appetizer Focus)

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 8 oz burrata cheese

  • 2 ripe peaches

  • 2 tbsp fig jam

  • 1 tsp honey

  • Pinch of garlic powder

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Extra-virgin olive oil

  • Flaky sea salt

Optional Prep for Rest of Menu:

  • Side & Vegetable: Quinoa, coconut milk, green beans, almonds, green onions, honey, garlic, ginger

  • Main Course: Halibut fillets, shallots, jalapeños, limes, coconut milk, cilantro

  • Dessert: Cottage cheese, mascarpone, lemons, egg whites, heavy cream, honey

Prep-Ahead Tips (Appetizer First):

  • 1–2 hours ahead: Smash burrata with garlic powder and a small drizzle of honey. Store covered in the fridge.

  • 2 hours ahead: Caramelize peaches and allow to cool.

  • Just before serving: Toast crostini and assemble the appetizer.

Pro Tip: Prepping the appetizer first is smart — it’s quick to assemble and sets a beautiful tone for the rest of the meal. Keep ingredients for sides, main, and dessert organized for smooth cooking later in the week.

Warmly,
